Bodily Harm EP
Oct 20, 2011 News
Bodily Harm EP:
1. Visuals of Obedience
2. Bodily Harm
3. Decay
4. Skin to Skin
5. Blood & Vision
This spontaneous release was initially meant to be a remix single of Night Vision with a b-side, but we wanted to take the opportunity to spread some songs that were in the risk zone of being forgotten, as well as give our listeners a much needed sign of life.
Several great songs did not fit in on our debut and now, since the sound on our upcoming album is distinctly darker and edgier, we have run into the same dilemma again.
Visuals of Obedience and Blood & Vision have both been on our repertoire for a while, and we really feel that they deserve to be officially released.
Bodily Harm was the first track recorded for the upcoming album and as much as we liked it, it was obvious that it was too synthpop in comparison to the rest of the new material.
Likewise, Decay was considered for the new record but ultimately dropped in favour of other tracks that were more in line with the overall atmosphere of the album.
Skin to Skin is a playful reworking of Night Vision, the much appreciated opening track on our first album.
We hope you enjoy these tracks while waiting for the new album, which will be released in the near future.
Love,
Sebastian, Johan, Marcus & Katie
The Bodily Harm EP is released digitally only. You can buy it from CDBaby, iTunes and Amazon as well as several other sites. It will also soon be available on Spotify.
The gallery has been updated with photos from the Bodily Harm cover session.

Decay
Oct 19, 2011 Lyrics
Music & lyrics by Johan Jarl
You’re moving silently on windy roads
A peal of laughter desperate on your lips
But you’re dancing nervously in your dreams
All these lovely illusions forever well concealed
There are various people lacking simple things
They will always drain you, hail your decay
They say compassion is a useful tool
I say it helps them in their deceptive ways
From time to time we lose ambiguity
Until the end of time we’re locked in our universe
From dusk till dawn we stage creativity
The crossroads of your choice
Decay of your common sense
Tempting mind, temping fears, temping goals
Temping life, tempting words never surface anymore
They caress you shamelessly, you learn to trust
You are mistaken, yet you are bright
These deceitful creatures who seemed so naïve
What was so alluring became your death
Industrious creativity can be the road to fortune
But when you’re walking down the path of desolation
You act an important part in the staging of a play
That you’re incapable of experiencing
And soon you’ll realize that nothing is more vital
Than the abusive consumption of your needs
Now you’re riding recklessly death’s carousel
A broken promise in a sea of grief
Bodily Harm

Music by Marcus Johansson
Lyrics by Sebastian Milo
He has come from far away
Traveling by night and day
There’s an underlying thrill
There is his compelling will
The beauty of his world
Will cause you bodily harm
Another curtain’s raised
A single shudder of pain
The tensions in his voice
Cause you bodily harm
You really have no choice
A voyage into the night
He has come without a past
His forever does not last
There’s a promise he will keep
You will join him in the deep
